Dear Canterbury Residents, Employees, Family Members, Trustees, and Community Partners,
Once again, I regret having to send a second Covid communication in quick succession. This morning we have learned of a second staff member who works on our Nursing Pavilion floor testing positive for Covid-19. The staff member had tested negative last week and has not worked since November 4th. They began experiencing symptoms on Sunday, November 8th. Based on the timing of when they last worked and when symptoms began, no additional residents or staff members will need to quarantine.
Healthcare staff will continue to test weekly and all other staff will test monthly. Our next monthly testing is scheduled for the week of November 16th.
