Wisteria Park, our Memory Support neighborhood named for the beautiful flowering vine, is located on the 2nd floor of Monarch Pavilion, which is also home to the stunning 10,000 sq. ft. Memory Support Gardens and Courtyard.
Our goal with our Memory Support program is to maximize a sense of self, create moments of connection and meaning, and find the deep joy that a warm community like Canterbury Court can provide, all in an environment that is safe and secure.
Every day, residents will have access to a range of programs and activities designed to stimulate and energize, from horticulture therapy in the Memory Support Garden, to music therapy, to off-campus outings that provide a wonderful change of scenery. Each private residence has a shadow box that holds personal items that are meaningful to the resident, personalizing the residence and spurring warm memories from their life.
Our Memory Support team maintains a range of certifications and a focus that provides not only the warm, personalized support our residents and their loved ones want, but also the smart and impactful therapeutic engagement residents need. All to protect and even increase mental activity, and to preserve and boost self-esteem.
