Dear Canterbury Residents, Employees, Family Members, Trustees, and Community Partners,
Today we learned that a staff member on our Nursing Pavilion tested positive for Covid-19 as part of our weekly testing. The staff member last worked on August 9th. The families of residents who this staff member worked with have been notified and the residents are being tested. They will remain quarantined until we have the results. All staff members working with these residents will wear full PPE when in their apartments.
We continue to test all Healthcare staff weekly so we can learn of positive cases early and take the necessary precautions to prevent further transmission.
We will monitor the individuals who have been in close contact with the positive employee for symptoms, and we will continue to keep you fully informed of any new cases we identify in the community.
