Canterbury Tales

Canterbury Tales, CTales, is the monthly newsletter prepared by the Residents and Staff of Canterbury Court for the enjoyment of the Residents, their friends and families, and prospective residents. It is published from September through June each year and is approximately 30 pages long. Residents, staff members and friends send articles about their committees, department activities, travels, poems, jokes and stories to the Editor, a resident. There are 35 to 50 contributors to each issue. Nancy & Greg Fukushima compile the articles and photos into the newsletter for printing, distribution and posting to the website. Photographs are taken of many of these activities to show the quality and variety of the life that goes on here and to recognize key contributors to the life of the community. Although Canterbury Court provides personal care and nursing care on-site for residents who eventually need it, Canterbury Court is a vibrant community rather than a nursing home. CTales gives prospective residents a glimpse of the variety and quality of that life.
